The heated bathroom floors were a good surprise.

While the atmosphere was cozy, the temperature in the room was quite chilly was good. The lack of variety in toiletries was disappointing. I found only one type of shampoo and no details about its ingredients. The reception hours were restrictive.

The breakfast was excellent. The ground of the bathroom can be heated even in Summer so it dries quickly.

I could not open the windows of the room.

Excellent breakfast, excellent service, reasonable distance from railway station and most attractions.

Would be a plus if they have wifi

Hotel is nice. Rooms are not so big, but convinient. We were traveling with a baby, and we felt a bit of lack of space in the room. May be it was the only bad thing. Staff is very nice. Also we liked a lot free coffee and tee, that You can get from the mashine at any time.

Had modern room, savoury breakfasts, you guys rock!

Location: the hotel was short walk to the main attractions. There were plenty of restaurants to eat, like Jalkiruokala Xoco's that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

The location of Hotelli Helmi really stood out. Being near the bus station made it super convenient for catching transport, and it's a quick walk to the old town. The room felt spacious with big windows and was well-equipped. I appreciated having a small fridge and the free hot drink machine in the lobby was a nice touch, especially during chilly evenings. Breakfast had a solid variety. I loved the fresh fruits and the options kept me satisfied every morning. The mattress could use an upgrade-it felt a bit basic for my taste. One more downside was the bathroom. While the heated floor was a great feature, some of the grout work looked unclean, slightly off-putting. Despite these little quirks, it was good value for the money overall.

Fridge and internet in the room

Air-conditioner functions poorly. 27.5 degrees in the room, and it's impossible to open the windows. Location isn't very comfortable. Narrow bed.

quiet hotel, good for buisness

We really loved the location, super convenient for our trip to Moomin World just 16 km away! The friendliness of the staff, especially since I was there with my brother and kids.

My wife says that the lack of air conditioning was uncomfortable .

No luggage store service. The reception is only open from 12pm-6pm.

Well located, very nice exterior design, nice breakfast and friendly people.

The bed was soooo narrow (I never understand why hotels use such small beds anyway) and the sheets did not look ironed.

Spacious room with heated bathroom floors made my stay cozy, and I loved the helpful early check-in when I arrived.

small rom, ordered dubbel room got a single room with extra bed that where too short very dusty under bed ac didn`t work so it got very hot in the room

Location: We came and left by bus, and Helmi is AT the bus station. It was nicely quiet on that holiday Thursday. Big room, all comforts, super beds and bath. BBC TV! We were the sole occupants on that holiday evening, so we fetched our key and info from a site nearby. This was a creative solution and showed great trust in us. Our big breakfast was left for us in our fridge.
